“MG IM6 Happy Journey to Khao Yai” Recharge Your Soul and Embrace Sustainable Energy with MG Primus
27 September 2025 — MG Primus, a company under Primus Group, led by Mr. Jirapol Rujivipat, Managing Director, organized an exclusive customer activity, “MG IM6 Happy Journey to Khao Yai: A Healing Trip with Primus.” The event brought together 14 families of MG IM6 electric vehicle owners for a caravan journey from Bangkok to Khao Yai, offering a memorable travel experience that combined happiness, relaxation, and environmental awareness.
The activity began at the MG EV Premium showroom and service center, Phetkasem 65 branch, with an official opening speech by Mr. Jirapol Rujivipat. Participants were briefed on the travel route, activity details, and EV charging station points before the caravan was officially flagged off. The flag-off ceremony was jointly conducted with Mr. Thapanon Phruekpramool, Director of Accounting and Finance, Primus Group, marking the beginning of the journey to Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima.
The group then enjoyed lunch at Ta Tum Pla Pao, a well-known local restaurant recognized as the original Isan-style grilled fish restaurant that does not coat its fish with salt. Guests enjoyed a relaxing meal in a warm and natural atmosphere.
Along the route, customers explored a new energy experience at the EGAT Learning Center, Lam Takhong, a learning center dedicated to future energy generation. Participants engaged with seven interactive zones, including virtual experiences related to hydropower, wind power, and solar energy. They also learned about the Wind Hydrogen Hybrid system, which stores electricity generated from wind turbines in the form of hydrogen gas. This system is recognized as the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Guests also enjoyed score-collecting games and a 7D movie experience presenting various perspectives on energy.
The caravan then continued to the Khao Yai Thiang Wind Turbine Viewpoint, a popular check-in destination for visitors. Participants enjoyed the beauty of nature through a cycling activity around the scenic reservoir, surrounded by panoramic views of large wind turbines standing majestically across the area.
The journey continued to Atta Lakeside Resort Suite, a luxurious five-star resort located amid the natural beauty of Khao Yai. Surrounded by lush green mountains and breathtaking lake views, the resort offered guests a truly relaxing and memorable stay.
In the evening, customers were treated to a special dinner at Prime 19 Khao Yai, a renowned Italian restaurant in Khao Yai. The restaurant features a distinctive hexagonal building with a raw, stylish American industrial loft design inspired by the 1990s. Its spacious interior resembles a large factory-style hall, complemented by an impressive Wine Cellar zone showcasing a stunning collection of wine bottles, considered one of the largest and most elegant wine displays in Khao Yai.
Each dish was carefully crafted by professional chefs, from the selection of premium ingredients to refined preparation and beautiful presentation. Accompanied by live music, the dinner created a warm, delightful, and memorable atmosphere for all participants.
The following morning, after breakfast, the caravan set out once again to Krua Khao Yai, a long-established local restaurant that has been part of Khao Yai for many years. With its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, together with generous portions and flavorful dishes, the restaurant provided another enjoyable dining experience for the group.
The next destination was GranMonte Vineyard and Winery, where participants immersed themselves in the beauty of a world-class vineyard. Guests toured more than 100 rai of vineyard by tram and learned about the winemaking process, from grape cultivation and fermentation to quality inspection and bottling — a process that takes no less than three years.
The trip concluded with a premium wine tasting experience featuring a variety of wines, including White Wine, Red Wine, Dessert Wine, and Rosé Wine, each paired with suitable dishes. In particular, the red wines showcased the unique charm of GranMonte’s boutique winemaking style, with distinctive flavors that vary from bottle to bottle and year to year. This individuality has earned GranMonte numerous gold medals from international wine competitions, making it a memorable final highlight of the journey.
